Migrate from Citavi

Import your existing Citavi 5 and Citavi 6 libraries directly into Paperpile by following these steps:

1. Locate your Citavi project file on your computer. It has the file ending .ctv5 or .ctv6.
2. In Paperpile, open the Add menu and choose Upload files.
   
3. Add the .ctv5 or .ctv6 file to the upload dialog. Click Start upload to begin.
   

Note: You don't need to create a backup, rename it to a zip file, or manually extract files. Paperpile can read the Citavi project database (SQLite) directly from the .ctv5/.ctv6 file.
